Very funny. Written in the 1st person by God who in this case is a aged, retired kamikaze pilot who is on trial for the killing of Time (being sued by a man who spends most of his time on a pogo stick so as to spend as little time on earth as possible. Go figure.) The plot is absurd and thoroughly entertaining. Mid way it degenerates into its main conceit which is outrageous and probably offensive to most people. If it wasn't so offensive I'd give it another half star and recommend it to my show more mother. show less
Vonnegut derived, but original, funny and brilliant enough to be a fitting homage. And just possibly, more Kurt than Kurt in places - the philosophical matter is dense and dealt with clearly and with humour. Totally recommended.
I have no plans to finish this. It reads like a very unfunny alternative comedian dieing on stage. There are no characters just mouthpieces.
It's a while since I read this. Time to reread. A fabulous work of fiction.
