One of the darkest, most humorous role-playing games ever written. Set in a dystopian future, the brave Troubleshooters of Alpha Complex seek to deal with communists, mutants, and secret societies. While being mutants and members of those secret societies. Trying to survive the various missions assigned by the Computer (the inhuman, all-knowing, ruler of Alpha Complex) is extremely difficult; trying to survive your fellow Troubleshooters (always keen to expose a hidden traitor such as show more yourself) is usually impossible. Worth buying just to read. Trust the Computer! The Computer is your Friend! show less
Death, Lies, and Vidtape is another Post-MegaWhoops campaign for the Paranoia roleplaying system, a series of adventure modules that take place in the computer-run dystopian future after a major system crash leaves Alpha Complex computer-less and, therefore, leaderless.
I'm not personally a fan of the Mega-Whoops campaigns, as removing one of the essential aspects of the Paranoia world's dystopian framework seems like an unnecessarily drastic change to make for the sake of breathing some new show more life into the game. With that being said, Death, Lies, and Vidtape is a decent addition to the Post-MegaWhoops storyline, with your intrepid out-of-work Troubleshooters becoming hired guns and stumbling into a complex of trouble when they sign up as bodyguards for a revolutionary leader who is attempting to unite all of the now-public secret societies. Previously underground societies becoming visible and engaging in turf wars is probably one of the few good ideas to come out of the MegaWhoops storyline, and this module utilizes to full effect. show less

A Paranoia RPG module, Send In the Clones takes a group of troubleshooting role-players on an adventure through the Alpha Complex sewers in search of the Commie singing treasonous old songs. Many clones will be lost, and hopefully a Funbot or two.
Really did want to like this one. It started so well too. unfortunately I'm now onto the third story and none of them have instilled any desire to continue reading the rest. I think part of the problem is the Paranoia world. It basically consists of a covered complex controlled by am AI computer that insists on controlling everyone via endless rules and regulations. These things when combined don't really lead to the most exciting of stories.
Shame. I really did want to like it.
