The Dancing Doll (A Candlelight Regency Special #111) by Janet Louise Roberts

This was a fairly decent old style regency. I read this many years ago. There was a scene I always liked where the hero gets drunk and makes love to the heroine, his wife. It wasn't rape but he can't remember it. He just wakes up and notices things that make him think he raped her. Lots of remorse from him and he is certain she hates him now. Quite angsty. I guess I've always loved angst.

My Lady Mischief (Candlelight Regency #105-1972, #240 -1978) by Janet Louise Roberts

Oh, this is definitely true to the genre. The heroine is an engaging redhead fallen on hard times; the hero is stern and remote, there are smugglers and threats.
There is also lots of tea, pretty dresses, intrepid wanderings, and misunderstanding (does he love me for my soul or for my body?). It's fun.
