Rewey Belle Inglis (1885–1967)

This is a book that was handed down to me from my grandparents after they passed away. It's really outdated and doesn't serve much of a useful purpose aside from having another vintage 'textbook' hanging around on my bookshelves that holds a bit of a memory.

I got my first 'Adventures' book as a kid and loved them ever since, so much so I cllect them when I find them in used bookstores, flea markets, etc. They are windows into the world and times they were written, full of classic examples of American, English and world literature, short stories, plays and poems

I was on the textbook committee, and I loved this book. When they sent an extra teacher's edition as a sample, I kept it.

high schoold jr. year text, very useful still to day. Frost, Sandburg, Eliot, Ewards (Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God), etc.
