I felt that the translations took away from the original poems. I found myself comparing Virgil's and Ferry's words and styles.

Recommended by Jason at Grolier Poetry Bookstore the night I went to see January Gill O'Neil present several young poets, including Joshua Nguyen. Poetry feels a bit old fashioned. And male.
I far preferred his own work to the works he chose to translate.
