I reached my goal this year of approximately 50% new reads. My goal for next year will be perhaps 75% new reads, including, say, 10% nonfiction. I don't particularly care about the fiction-f/sf divide at this point.

I had no idea I read that much nonfiction this year! I thought it was almost entirely fiction. Of course, most of the nonfiction is memoirs. Without the memoirs, the number of nonfiction books is reduced to 53 - still a lot more than I would have expected.

#16 --Wow, 250!!!! ...I looked at your list, and since it took me so long to read through all the books you listed, I counted it as another book I read in 2007!

#16 - Great idea to tag your books with the year then direct us to that tag. I don't know how to do that linky thing you did, but that works great for a large list of books. Impressive.

72 for me, though they're not all in my library. The one's left off are my History of Music textbook, Cat Pay the Devil, and the Source for Learning Disabilities. It's been a good year!
