This is a republication of four booklets by Therese de Dillmont, and one by Frederico Tedesco, all from ca. 1920, and presented as one book. Some of the text is in French, such as the part that shows how to make a net. But the patterns and illustrations are clear, and the article on how to make the stitches is in English. Looks like a decent way to teach myself the technique.
The book has a large number of lovely filet patterns. This book is the reprint of old books that are a useful resource. However the books are not updated to modern terms or translated from French. These books are available at www.antiquepatternlibrary.org
Reformat of an actual workbook with tatting samples and patterns-- anonymous designer.
Third in the series from Lacis on C. Duchrow's work. Charted knit lace items of the Victorian/Edwardian era.
