T. R. Glover (1869–1943)

This is a very good, if dated, introduction to the Ancient World. The style with which Glover writes is marvellous, it reminds me of CS Lewis - although other people might not like it. If anything I give it 5 stars for the style alone, afterall the content can be found in any standard book about Ancient History.
