This is a potentially important portrayal of a professional woman and her same-sex partner breaking through the glass ceiling in socially conservative Australia. Regrettably it shows all the signs of a quick writing job which skates over a wide range of issues without focussing too much on analysing them. It does however deserve a better fate than being remaindered at 25 per cent of the RRP. read this book when I had no job no qualifications. It was a tonic at the time.
