Impressive Audio Books

LibraryCin: Probably my favourite audio. There are five (I believe) different narrators. Of course, the accents bring you right there to 1950s Mississippi!

LibraryCin: I have to admit the story is nothing to write home about, but I love Flavia's character and the narrator, Jayne Entwistle, is absolutely perfect as Flavia! I wouldn't bother reading this in print - only on audio for this series.

LibraryCin: This one has multiple narrators and it sounded like a child's voice narrating for Jack, which I think make it more powerful.

LibraryCin: One particular part of the book was very difficult to listen to, but that just made it more powerful, I think.

LibraryCin: Only for those who like horror! This really was intense! The print book probably is, as well, but the narrator reads perfectly for the tone of the book, I think.

LibraryCin: Two narrators for this one, one for each Will Grayson. The narrators are amazing!! Especially when doing the voice for Tiny and nice singing.

LibraryCin: This is read by a large cast of people. Each cast member reads for a specific character. The book is written so it is from many different characters' points of view, so this works very well.

LibraryCin: Bronson Pinchot does an amazing job of narrating this series, with all the different voices and accents.

LibraryCin: Steven Weber does an amazing job of narrating, particularly with all Richie's voices.

LibraryCin: Alan Doyle read this himself. What a great storyteller! The accent and the phrases, and he’s so funny!

LibraryCin: It’s told in interviews with many of the characters; this format led really well to the audio, with each character having a different narrator for the audio.

LibraryCin: Audio is how this one *should* be told. Alan Doyle is hilarious!

LibraryCin: As an oral history, it makes sense that it is a great audiobook. There are also recordings from the time included.
