I can't remember how I started reading this series, I'm just glad I did. My favorite aspect is the retro nature of the books. They take place in the 80's....before cell phones, computers, etc! Yes, there was life before cell phones and computers!

Although it t has been awhile since I read some of these (which is one of the reasons I 'boxed' them together), Sue Grafton is one of the best story tellers of our times. She can spin quite a tale and Kinsey is great. If you want a good mystery with solid characters, then this entire series is a must read!
