Cloudstag cloud, author cloud

About meI live in Southern Arizona, an amazing place to live. I live with my sister, Katie, and I drive her nuts with all my books everywhere. I have three cats, Lily, Seeley, and Sterling. I love my family and couldn't stand living without them. I just got myself a nook color, and I'm throughly enjoying it. I still buy real books. I love listening to music, mostly country. Chris LaDoux is my favorite singer. And finally I wouldn't be the reader I am if my fifth grade teacher had not read Redwall by Brian Jacques to my class. I was so sad when I heard that Jacques had passed away.

About my libraryI read mostly fantasy and scifi, but also like ya fiction, mysteries, historical, and romance. Some of my favorite authors are; Brian Jacques, Nora Roberts, Diane Duane, Tamora Pierce, and J.K. Rowling.

Sorry I missed your comment on my page. That was way back in 2010. I have been so busy working on my schooling that I never really understood how to work this site. I am working on it now and just had a chance to check out your library. Hope you don't mind, but I am going to "steel" some of the books in your library to add to my wishlist. Would love some recommendations. Right now I am reading lots of YA and children's books since after reading medical textbooks all day I don't want something to thought provoking. For instance, I just started the David Eddings series "Belgariad" since I am on break right now, but could not imagine trying to read this when I am taking courses. I will start semptus heap: darke when school starts back in Sept. Thanks to the interest. Marty
