Welcome to my 2024 thread!

I've had a lot of fun here on LibraryThing and plan to have a lot more fun in 2024.

In 2023 I read a total of 472 books! Quite a few more than 2022's 450. This year we'll see if I read a similar number.

I'm in awe of the number of books you read last year. It was an off year for me, but then the last few have been "off." I'm starting out slower than usual, but I have hopes it will pick up.

>79 alcottacre: Mom's doing great! She's using a cane most of the time now instead of crutches or a walker. (Four months ago she was in a wheelchair.) Her nurses and therapists are very pleased with her progress. She still has short and long term memory issues but they seem to be improving.
